Expert Witness on Psychological Topics
Having been a professor for thirty years at the graduate and undergraduate levels, I have become well-versed in a panoply of psychological concepts, ranging from eye-witness accuracy, psychological and neuropsychological concepts to potential for violence. This is presented in Power Point (or other computerized) or printed presentations for jury edification. My presentations have also been used in the form of amicus curiae.

Forensic Evaluations*
Over the past thirty years, I have performed hundreds of evaluations to determine competency to stand trial, restorability, (for both juveniles and adults) competency to handle funds, competency to sign contracts and insanity issues. I do not perform child custody evaluations.

Neuropsychological Evaluations*
Dr. General has performed thousands of neuropsychological evaluations since 1976 for individuals with a wide variety of neurological disorders with neuropsychological impact, such as cerebral palsy, forms of dementia, genetic disorder (e.g. Down and Klinefelter syndromes) intellectual disability, motor involvement, serious febrile episodes and traumatic brain injury.

Psychoeducational Evaluations*
These are assessments of aptitude, academic achievement and personality or emotional functioning for issues related to ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), ED (emotional disorder) and LD (learning disability). These assessments are provided in those instances where a second opinion is being sought by the parents or where the school does not provide this service.

Psychological Evaluations*
These are overall evaluations of intellectual aptitude, personality functioning and other areas to fulfill a specific requirement or criterion, e.g. job application requirement.
Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluations*
Dr. General has performed thousands of evaluations at a rehabilitation center in Illinois, a training center in Oregon and privately in Arizona since 1976. These evaluations assess career desirability or interest, aptitude to perform that job by means of an extensive test battery covering areas necessary for that job and temperament to do the job in the work context.
*All evaluations include an extensive psychosocial history and mental status examination. In the case of evaluations of children, the parents or guardians are interviewed so as to obtain a salient history. Educational and medical records are also perused for cogency and are integrated into the final report.
